Wilderpark put up a resilient performance on Saturday to record a well earned 1-0 victory away to Division Three leaders West Farleigh Reserves.
A goal by Andy Streeter during the second half decided the destiny of the points having finished clinically inside the upright,
Adam Balcombe deputised in goal for the injured Lewis Hughes and Gary Sawyer and looked as though he was a natural goalkeeper. One second half point blank save was outstanding. The Park back four of Alec Denniff, long serving Adam Everest, Dave Hobby and Neil Cutts closed the door as they defended an onslaught of attacks.
In form was Matt Lenton who played an integral part in the defensive wall but also had time to make forward surges.
The whole team put up a tremendous performance to give the Park their first victory of the season. On this form there are more to come.
