Wilderpark eased to a comfortable 6-3 victory against St Lawrence Reserves at Raleys Field.
The Park enjoyed much of the possession during the opening 20 minutes or so and took the lead through Freddie Payne who scored from close range then a brilliant ball in from the left by Leon Terry found the unmarked Alfie Smyth who struck the ball beyond the Saints keeper.
In between Saints levelled against the run of play when a shot struck Brett Meade and sent keeper and brother Damien the wrong way.
In the second half the Park raced into a 4-1 lead but Saints fought back scoring twice in quick succession including one own goal by substitute Steve Henniker who headed wide of the keeper.
The Park soon recovered from this setback despite Saints having renewed spirit from reducing the arrears goals by Andy Streeter, James Hagon and a rare one from Sam, yes, Sam Morton and Alex David finally wrapped up the points.
